Organizing Panels for Club Programs

 

• Two kinds of panel discussions were suggested, depending on costs and/or interests of the club.

  • in-house: panelists would be members of the club

  • invited panelists could either be well-known photographers or members of other clubs

• Panel discussion topics can include:

  • compositon

  • lightng

  • judging

  • travel

  • architecture

  • portraits

  • DSLs vs mirrorless cameras

  • wild life

  • abandoned places

  • landscapes

  • photojournalism

  • how to create a slideshow on a PC/on a Mac

    • suggested programs: ProShow Gold now has a web version for Mac as well as their PC version

    • Premiere Elements “can do anything”
